Jonathan Frederick, D.M.D., M.D., is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his dedication to high-quality patient care. A native of Tuscumbia, AL, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama and went on to complete his dental degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following his dental training, Dr. Frederick pursued his medical degree and completed both a General Surgery Internship and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical School. With extensive training and a commitment to patient comfort, Dr. Frederick brings his expertise to every treatment, ensuring that each patient receives the best care possible.
I’m currently just over 24 hours following a tooth extraction and implant. No pain, no swelling and I was able to get off my pain pills today as well! Procedure took about 30 minutes- spoke with the kind Nurse, for a few minutes, spoke with Dr. Frederick he said this will make you sleepy as he put the magic potion in my veins. I fell asleep, took a nap and the procedure was over.Thank you Dr. Frederick, the Nurse, Secretary, and Technician for their time and talents yesterday!Have no fear folks, they’ll have you on your way to grill of the year in no time!A true blessing to the Shoals!Thank y’all again!Brandon

Nicest folks down there at the Florence office. Dr. Jonathan Frederick, D.M.D., M.D. is such a treasure for our area. He's smart, thoughtful and explains his findings in a way that's easy to understand. I took my son there to have his wisdom teeth removed and they are great with children and I went for something myself and they are also great with adults!
I was very pleased with their professionalism. Everyone was knowledgeable about my procedure. I had an excellent result. I was seen at both offices. Dr. Frederick was great, and so were his nurses; I felt very confident in their knowledge and expertise.
